I was privileged to attend a FABULOUS cooking class recently at the Milwaukee Public Market. If you live within three states you should attend one of their classes!!! I didn't even mind the drive, the traffic, or subjecting myself to, well ... Milwaukee. Sorry, Milwaukee, you're just not my fave city! (Six years later I still shudder at the thought that I ever once lived there! Eeeck!)
The instructor for this class was personable, informative, and her food was some of the best I've ever eaten!! She made a Farro dish with Pesto, Lavender Shortbread Cookies, Asparagus (I've NEVER had asparagus cooked this miraculously wonderful in my life!!!), a Rhubarb Sauce which I honestly didn't care for (but who does like rhubarb anyway?? Seriously.), and Kale braised with Golden Raisins. If was just fabulous!
I highly recommend the classes at Milwaukee Public Market!!! I learned so much I'm not quite sure where to start... Hmmm, off to the kitchen, I think!
